Freelance finance

  • Who is this course for?
This course is designed for freelancers, musicians, and creative professionals in Germany (or Europe) who want to understand how retirement works and learn how to start saving—even with a small income.
  • I know nothing about finance. Will I understand this course?
Yes! This course is beginner-friendly, jargon-free, and practical. No complex stock market talk—just simple, realistic steps tailored to freelancers.
  • Will this course tell me exactly where to invest my money?
This course will explain different saving and investing options available to freelancers, like ETFs, index funds, and private pension plans. However, I won’t be giving personal financial advice—instead, I’ll help you understand your options so you can make an informed decision.
  • I barely make enough to cover my rent. How can I even think about saving?
That’s exactly why this course exists! You don’t need to be rich to invest. Even €20–50 per month can grow into something meaningful over time. I’ll show you how to start small and stay consistent without sacrificing your daily needs.
  • How long is the course?
It’s a 1-hour session, packed with clear, actionable insights. No fluff, just the essentials to help you get started.
  • Is this an online or in-person course?
It’s entirely online, so you can join from anywhere.
  • How much does it cost?
The first 4 sessions will be free. Later, each 1h session will be €20, which is probably less than what you spend on coffee in a month—but could help you save thousands in the long run! 😉
  • Will I need to do complicated paperwork to start saving?
Nope! I’ll show you simple, low-effort ways to set up your savings and investments. You can start in just a few clicks.
  • What if I have questions after the course?
You’ll get a list of useful resources to continue learning. Depending on demand, I might offer follow-up Q&A sessions in the future! But you can always send follow-up questions straight to my inbox at suttersg@gmail.com 📨
